Vale Bruce Buggins

It is with sadness that we confirm the passing of club legend Bruce Buggins.
With a WA career stretching between 1954 and 1963, Bruce played 63 matches, had a highest score of 60 not out and best bowling figures of 1 for 1. Not bad for a keeper.
Bruce still holds the club record for “Most Dismissals for a Keeper with 199 catches and 97 stumpings.
Playing in 5 out of the clubs 7 two day premiership winning sidessurely puts Bruce in rare company at SPCC let alone the WACA cricket fraternity.
